Hi all,

As above I have un readable display on the w210. Is replacing an option at what cost? or if anyone has a part no. I can go find out, Thanx:t-hands:

Could you be more specific? What is the problem?

Is it the display at the bottom, or the LEDs that are burned out?

It's not a rare problem in the W210 to have faulty instruments. The main connector of the cluster is not extremely well-thought and sometimes induces burned-out LEDs, problems with the precision of the speedo...

Check eBay for a replacement cluster (but be sure to choose from a reliable seller), or see if a garage can do that for you as it's not a particularly difficult thing to do...

Try to look at Mercedes-Benz Forum, they're quite good with MB technical issues.

Hope I could help.
:t-cheers:

Is the display just not lighting up or is it scrambled?
Could just be light bulb, or entire cluster.

Thanx for coming back on this matter. It's not a blown light etc. the display over all the panel LCD's is so bad you cannot see them while driving. No temp display etc. All the rest of the panel is OK it's just the LCD panels. It makes no difference if you turn up the adjusting light button either. So I think it is a problem with the LCD panel only. Really I am looking at a replacement panel if anyone has a P/No. or a euro supplier.

Thanx NO26 (Ireland):t-hands:
