XC60 Volvo XC60 Concept @ NAIAS 2007

Photos of Volvo's forthcoming XC60 Concept have leaked online. The vehicle will be on display at the Detroit auto show in January.
It's not known how closely the concept vehicle will resemble the production car, but if the Volvo C30 is any indication, the concept and production models will be very similar.

For the time being, details remain sparse and photo quality is poor. Nonetheless, we're sure Volvo fans will be interested in this early glimpse at what is certain to be a key product for the brand going forward.

The exterior looks ok, it is a bit un-volvo like. i think there is a hint of Ford Iosis-X about it, espically on the side view. The interior is very nice, it is inline with the existing volvo interior design, but they took it to the next level.

My exact thought, the whole front screams Iosis. Nice looking concept though, but don't all concepts look cool? The production car will not looks this aggressive, volvo's design team = cowards.*ywan*

Finally, we see a real 'step' in the evolution of the Volvo look. I think this looks really good. I especially like how the rear lights are taking on a new shape. Should look very cool in practice - if they stick to their guns on this concept.

no no, not a fan of it... It could be a lot better. But it's a nice idea from volvo...

BTW, is this a piece of work from their new desinger? (the ex-MB guy)
