Continental R Mulliner (2002)
Classic beauty, this one. Good taste. I remember seeing quite some Continental R in Belgium in the 90-ies

I like to think of myself as a simple man. As a city dweller, the Castro bicycle for leisurely wandering about the metropolis, and a Panamera 4S (I know it's the turbo that's pictured, but I couldn't find the right angle or color for the 4S to communicate my sentiment).

Yep...that should about do it.

If it was a money no object scenario, the list would be pretty massive, but the primary goal would be to achieve an Encyclopedic collection of BMW's.

This would consist of (For each series and bodystyle);

1/ One average run-of-the-mill spec car (the one's that won't get saved and no-one bothers restoring.. the 316d SE's of the world that get raped as fleet cars and die unserviced deaths on council estates...)

2/ One high specification/rare configuration, for example, in the UK there a less than 5.. Five.. BMW 550i GT M-sport vehicles... that makes them rarer than en E92 M3 GTS in the UK...
3/ Any proper limited editions or special editions

4/ One of every M car and Alpina car... in addition to any that meet criteria 4.

5/ For older classic cars, vintage, pre-war cars I'd pretty much buy anything that hit the market.

6/ I'd also keep an eye out for BMW Motorsport chassis original race cars, for example there are 4 E46 M3 GTR's that are BMW Motorsport original cars in circulation/competition. Or, for example, any ex-BMW Team UK/Germany/Italy Spain S2000 2.0L WTCC cars.

7/ Anything unique that hit the auction block.

This could easily end up resulting in excess of 600 cars to find a home for... the home would be a purpose built museum, with short (<1.0 mile) handling circuit with integrated 1/4 mile strip...

.. but, if we're talking about something of a more personal collection ... I guess I'd go for something like;

The must have BMW's

Porsche 918

The Aston Martins

1986 V8 Vantage Coupe (classic British muscle)
1998 Vantage V600 Coupe (the Supercar poster from my youth)
2003 V12 Vanquish (yup.. not an S - less power, but also less tacked on aero)
2012 Virage Coupe (the cleanest Aston ever)
2013 One-77 (for getting close to perfection, even if it failed)
2017 Vanquish Coupe (fit as tits)
2011 V12 Zagato (ZawesomeZ)

..the rest
Mclaren F1 Longtail road car
A Van, probably a LWB high roof Mercedes sprinter (We've all got friends that need to borrow a van!)
1993 Rover 220 Turbo Coupe in Tahiti Blue... mid-teen lust-mobile
2008 Bowler Wildcat
Land Rover Defender Twin cab flat bed Pick up (with winch, snorkel, big nobbly tyres and a pick-axe on the wing)
Lamborghini Reventón (honestly the only Lambo I've lusted after)
Mercedes Maybach Coupe by Xenatec
1935 Monaco Trossi (it's got a 16 cylinder radial engine... WT actual F)

Honourable mention for cars I wanted to include but didn't because there's already a car on this list that I'd pick the keys to first if I was in the mood:

Porsche 959 (I'd never go for it over an Aston)
Ferrari 599 GTO (I'd never go for it over an Aston)
Veyron (It'd never be as quick, but when I park the 6×6 infront of it... no-ones gonna be looking at the Veyron.. also the 918 is better looking and quick enough)
Mercedes Mclaren SLR 722 (I'd never go for it over an Aston)

6) Lamborghini Diablo (original; 1990) - The fastest car of my childhood
7) Lamborghini Countach - Need I say more?

If it was a money no object scenario, the list would be pretty massive, but the primary goal would be to achieve an Encyclopedic collection of BMW's.

This would consist of (For each series and bodystyle);

This could easily end up resulting in excess of 600 cars to find a home for... the home would be a purpose built museum, with short (<1.0 mile) handling circuit with integrated 1/4 mile strip...

.. but, if we're talking about something of a more personal collection ... I guess I'd go for something like;
