I knew I wasn't crazy! BMW was in last place by a boat load! And not only did it catch Audi & Mercedes but it pasted them in like 2 Hours! That's pretty damn suspect, and it's making me think it's not the only 1!

im checking the logg on this thread and nothing has been done to this thread.
Only thing I see is done 6 March and it says approving poll nothing about editing the poll.
so only thing I can think of is that people actually have voted for BMW.
Two days ago when M3 was reveled we had a lot of traffic on this board so my guess is that the new people have voted for BMW.
remember, next time a poll is created make it public so we can see who is voting for what.

I have voted for Audi cause they have the best design and craftmanship of the three (IMO). Mercedes has nice design and materials but the quality is not top notch in any model (apart from E class maybe) , BMW doesn't have the best materials or design (apart from new X5 which i really like) but the assembly is better than Mercedes.

facelifted 5er and 1er has new and better materials according to BMW and the swedish press also said the same..

Facelifted X3 also has very nice materials according to Greek magazines. Very improved compared to the pre FL model.
I forgot to say that i like the interior of the 3 series very much.

we had a conversion with NSL, nothing is wrong. He showed us who vote for what. There are many new names in the poll. No conspiracy here.

This thread has been cross checked by the admin and all the moderators. Nothing has been tampered with and to be honest nothing really can be tampered with.
Take into consideration that we have had new members join recently with the unveiling of the M3. Maybe they are leaning towards BMW for now. Either way, all of the stats, as requested, have been verified and everything is correct.
I suggest we move on and not discuss the validity of this.

Same thing happened when we posted C-class pictures ... Many new members - MB fans - joined, and MB gained in most polls at that time.
Now many new BMW fans joined ...
And BMW gained in most polls.Such polls are just a brand loyalty demonstrations by various fans. Nothing to do with facts.
Although eg. BMW is voted for having best interiors that doesn't meant that's an absolute truth.
It's just a stupid poll.

What? Yannis the S-Class' (and CL) quality is as top notch as anything else in the world. The E-Class just got a facelift which improved it greatly, before that it wasn't completely up to snuff.

Everyone is saying the facelift E-class has much improved interior quality over the pre-face lift version, but i disagree. I have spent considerable amount of time in both version and i can honestly say they are the same, the E class interior has always been great.
Back to topic. IMO, it is Mercedes vs Audi. Never really liked the BMW interiors, i like the 5 and the 6, and X5, but the rest is just not very good.
Right now Audi is winning my vote, only just because of the R8 and A5 interiors. Mercedes is quickly catching up with the new S and the CL. I will wait til they have completely replaced their older passanger cars before making a final decision. I will give MB a chance to prove themselves.

Yeah the 03' E was better than some of the MB's right before it, but I found it lacking in some areas. I just had a E350 4Matic Wagon (ugh!) as a loaner (I was getting new tires) and I found it to be a mis-match of good and just ok interior materials. This was a 2006 model however, not the 07 facelifted model. I've sat in the 2007 model a few times now and found it to be much better, again in the smaller, minor details. Mercedes seems to do wierd things with their cars from one year to the next. They remove this, add that, then remove that. Its hard to explain without the cars in front of me. That said I want a E550!
Yeah I too will be awaiting the next E and CLK in particular to see if Mercedes is really going to make the S-Class level switch with their interiors. If Audi can have great interiors from top to bottom then Mercedes can too.
I agree with you about BMW interiors. They've never looked like anything, but they've arguably had the best ergonomics. Everything is placed right and it is set up for the "business" of driving, nothing more. Only the 7-Series or something like the previous 8-Series really enticed with real design or luxury.

Here's the new E-Class interior. It did receive some slight changes such as a new steering wheel but overall it's pretty much the same as the original W211.
