Which interior looks best? Full Sized Luxury Car Edition

For example, I'll give you one (from a choice of quite a few faults) reason why the A8 will never be top. It's incredibly easy to accidentally hit the electric seat memory buttons which are located just by the interior door opener when exiting the car. After two days it bloody infuriated me to the point that I decided I could never own the car. Absolutely unforgivable in a car like the A8.

True, a lot of Audis have the seat memory button there. My wife hits the memory button every time she opens the driver's door on our S4, then the seat doesn't move into my position when I open the Audi with my key... drives me mental! I voted for the S-class because it looks the best but I don't yet know if there is anything in there that might not be so good in reality like the Audis stupidly placed seat memory button.

I HATE dealers with this attitude. It's preposterous. I went a few times to a local Benz dealer in my Honda Civic prior to the A-class release. And by the 3rd visit when I advised I was 'just looking' and didn't need any assistance the dealer said to me, 'Ok, but are you wasting our time or are you actually going to buy a car?' Just because of that comment I took my families business elsewhere and they have missed out on 5 sales due to arrive between August and November (2 A's, 1 CLA and 2 E's).

And by the 3rd visit when I advised I was 'just looking' and didn't need any assistance the dealer said to me, 'Ok, but are you wasting our time or are you actually going to buy a car?' Just because of that comment I took my families business elsewhere and they have missed out on 5 sales due to arrive between August and November (2 A's, 1 CLA and 2 E's).

The only way they will learn is if you let them know they missed out on those sales. I would have the whole collection of new Benzes there to show them.

Hence my sarcasm ""...In my Town they all know me. But most unfortunately it's been always the case elsewhere, especially in cities. Mind you and this is honestly the case, when you visit BMW dealers (and BMW AG having Plant Rosslyn here) they always have demo's and it's easy to go for a test drive even if you look like a Walmart weirdo. It's the bloody VW and Toyota dealers that 'checks you out'! And getting to drive a LCI Jag XF is a lost case. Most, most friendly and helpful dealers I have ever visited is VOLVO!

That's because the A8 has an incredibly awesome interior.. When I sat in one, I thought there was no way Mercedes-Benz could top it, but they proved me wrong. Still it's just barely better than the A8

Unlike the vast majority of people in this thread, I'm speaking from long periods of actually USING and EXPERIENCING these cars.

The A8 is OK but in my opinion it is very slightly behind the the 7 Series.

I have an S550 (near the end of its lease) and I respectfully disagree.. After sitting inside an A8, I thought it was far superior in terms of appearance and quality.

I assume you're comparing like for like? Standard with standard? The A8 feels like a bigger A6. The 7 Series feels like a bigger 5 Series. The W221 S-Class feels positively regal. People accuse it of being outdated. I guess the night vision isn't standard but on the car I drove it felt positively futuristic having a TV screen in front of you looking through the fog.

My S550 is very well equipped and it has everything except for the driver assistance pkg... Still, I personally found the A8 to be definitely superior

My fellow GCF members IMO the interior thing is absolutely just up to personal taste and preferance. Just like clothes, shoes, watches, sunglasses, hairstyles etc.















The terms: "Taste differ." "All walks of life" "Individuality" "Preference" etc. DOES exist, believe it or not!
