Hot! Tesla Master Plan Pt.2 (The Next 10 Years)

I think this guy knows a little more than some b**thurt internet dudes that missed the discount and start complaining online that "wow the discount was soooo bad"...

No , it isn't . Elon said that cars will get back to the past prices once inflation and shortage will be resolved. Now that the prices are down . "this is so bad" .

Some of this guys think that some tens of thousands of cars delivered at the higher prices will be more important than millions that will folllow due to the best price in class right now . Stupid .

Keep in mind , that last year , LOTS of cars were delivered at the old prices , even if the prices at the time of the delivery was much higher ! Guess what , nobody complained when they took the cars at the old prices !

I'm glad that the prices are down. Now with the quality of the cars being much higher , good delivery times , good performance and good tech , I see it as a no brainer to get another car. It's just the best in class. Period.

Those articles and videos are irrelevant due to one single fact.
The Tesla cult/fanboys.

You can literally give them shit, and they will claim its gold... You can drop prices, their cars can explode in the backyard. None of them will have a problem with it. They will still praise Tesla and buy everything with Tesla logo on it. It's literally like with Apple and IPhones and their sheep community.

So just let me get this straight - Tesla has sold about 3.6 million vehicles so far. And your belief is that these 3.6 million people spent upwards of $50k because they are irrational fanboys?

3 million of them at minimum. :D

Just ignore the morons. Not worth it. I remember when I joined GCF , more than 10 years ago , and when Tesla topic was hot , there were lots of idiots that were like "oh , it's gonna bust , look at Fisker , look at X , look at Y" .

10 years later and Tesla almost sold as much as Audi in 2022. Because they are trash and the cars explode....

I own 2 Teslas , and had absolutely no issue with them. Did they had issues in the past? Yes. Did they resolve most of them? YES.

(NO Tesla fan boy here . I have an order for a Model X and I don't want it anymore , because I like i7 ; I like cars that are worth the money that you pay for them )

Does Tesla has the best price in their range right now? YES .

Does it matter to Tesla haters? Of course not. So , ignore them...Pointless to argue

3 million of them at minimum. :D

Of course. Given you also attribute the same irrational fanboy status to about 1.2+ billion iphone users, not a far reach for you. :D

But here is an alternative reality I think is far more plausible - you have a small, narrow mind that can't comprehend people with tastes, opinions, aspirations that differ from your own, so it paints them as irrational actors in order to escape the cognitive dissonance of it's own limitations.

Before you feel bad/hurt. Don't. Most people are the same, including me. But that doesn't change the fact that is a far more likely reality.

Autonews saying the obvious -
A gross profit of 20bn then and that's just from selling cars. I think BMW's gross profit for 2023 is 25bn and that includes everything not just car sales as far as I'm aware. Achieving this by selling just 62.5% of what BMW sells is nothing short of phenomenal.

Tesla Inc includes the Tesla Energy and Tesla Grohmann Automation, so the 20bn gross profit includes those companies as well, not just automotive.

20bn from car sales. 15,653 USD x 1.315m units equals a bit over 20bn. 1.5bn comes from Energy and Grohmann it seems.

Oh the article talks about the 21.5bn of revenue in Q3 not the annual gross profit so no idea how Energy and Grohmann did but 20bn gross from car sales stands.

It surely can't hurt for people to be paying tens of thousands of dollars per car for dangerous vapourware an 'option' the car doesn't actually have yet.

It's also worth noting BMW's gross profit for 2022 is artificially high because of the one-time impact of taking the controlling stake in BMW Brilliance. Generally about €9Bn would be typical, and though 2021 demonstrated that during supply shortages, much greater profit was there for the taking, I'm not sure how much of that would still apply in 2022 or 2023, but this spike in profit is not a true performance indicator.

Until September there were already more than 16bn and the last quarter was by far the one in which it sold the most, so well above 20bn, it is the most possible, 25bn even.
Of that:

"BMW said buying a controlling stake in its Chinese car-making joint venture with Brilliance will bolster the German company's earnings by as much as 8 billion euro"

Being due to the purchase from Brillance which are also profits from the automotive business as a result of a clear strategy
It amuses me that it is clarified that "for the only time".....I hope I will earn 8bn "for the only time"

Now, those Tesla numbers are magnificent, to get the hat off and some still criticize him, ......... it's only 10 years or less since it started!!

We can now be 100% certain that Roadster 2.0 is not happening anytime soon.

I'm shocked.gif

Is this off the investor presentation? My feed has been insisting for a week or so, that we'll get the sub 20k Tesla hatch... did that happen? I don't want to click any links, cus, y'know... Tesla news without protection is like syphilis... No roadster would not be a surprise, but a sub 20k mass produced, widely available EV would be a worthy.. dare I say, "gamechanger"...?

No new model announcements during the Investor day. The car above Cybertruck looks like a van. The car under "700M", is the refreshed Model 3.

I really doubt they will release a sub 20k Tesla , just because M3 is still selling like hot cakes. I bet they will wait for the demand for M3 to slow , and then release the cheaper one.
