X5 [Spyshots] Next generation BMW X5 (3rd gen) 2015?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
Something tells me it might be a proper 7 seater..
From the last picture it looks closer in size to the GL.

The new X5. Seen here in the FEP example as an M Sport Packet.
As part of the next generation of BMW's. A side intake will feature as a function of EfficientDynamics to help with drag over the front wheels. In the M4 for example the intake is much larger and forms the idea allbeit with added function of the BMW 1er M Coupe. Already spotted on the 4er ,3er GT and now the X5 , there will be other models which feature this functional design element.

BMW recently showed their Employees in South Carolina the next generation of X5 , X6 and X4.

I still like the ML as a boring yet pretty stately Soccer Mom Van that actually can have a dose of sold-MB presence when equipped right, but it's gotten boring fast. Very square and not too dynamic or smooth of a design. I'm not into German SUV's in the least, but I think the X5, if a hit, will be a runaway winner in this segment.

BTW guys, could anyone with good PS skills draw the shoulder line in the X3 way and give colour to the camo. I think it must be easy, but I have no idea about how to use the photoshop.

Is that X5 or X7 in your avatar, Scott? Looks big...X7?

The non-M Pack one is looking to squarish and plain. Not my cup of tea, for sure. The front lights don´t appear to be very nice, and the rear part is not clear enough. The M Pack car looks better, but it looks too close to the X3. The side profile has lost character, since the shoulder lines appears to be too close to the X3 and thus to a standard BMW sedan.

For the moment I would still pick the Cayenne over all.

The front 3/4 view at 00:32 looks very appealing. If the profile avoids looking like a stretched X3 ( though I fear it may not ) then this will be one handsome SUV
