Xenon's are standard on the E70 ( at least in Ireland and the UK ) ??
It's a simple, reasonable suggestion Klier. Somebody casually browsing, and knowing your fondess of all things BMW, might think you are posting FACTUAL information. Saying WILL implies you either know something or it's been publicly announced by BMW.
Very well, I agree with this. It sounded too much as a fact and I really don't know this for sure.
May I ask what is this? I mean, there is alu+wood? two different trim insertions ala Audi A8?
Best look to date at the LED headlights on the F15 X5.
You might be correct.I'll see if I've got a direct head on shot.Thanks. PalBayThey look like xenons to me. Are you sure they're LED headlights and not just LED halos?
my guess is that F15 will have xenon and probably halogen headlights, because of headlights aiming corrector, look at the last interior picture. Headlights control unit: the first right wheel. If I'm not mistaken full-LED lights do not combine with manual corrector.
Neither do xenons.
so, this picture confirms, that the new F15 will even have old-fashioned halogen headlights!

Don't post things as if they're fact. Quite simple really.
When commenting on something which is purely subjective, like the looks of a car, then I don't think people need to write "IMHO" after every sentance. This is different, however.
As it happens I don't disagree with your opinion. I think it's a distinct possibility that Xenons will be standard on the new X5. But the key word is "possibility".
The current X5(in the US) has Xenons standard. I'm sure that won't change come the next gen.
The current gen X5 looks pretty darn good, even 7 years later. I'm hoping the next gen does too.
How do we know whats standard in the base form? What BMW choose to offer as standard in a particular market has nothing to do with what the car will have as standard in its base form.
