3rd window looks fine. The camo actually made it stand out more. I think it gives the proper proportion to the greenhouse. No doubt this car will have great visability.

I think the car looks very balanced. The rear fender arch is much better executed on the coupe than on the sedan. After the GLK I was expecting to see some more interesting wheels. These are just out of the parts bin. Come on MB, give us something new. An exotic coupe shouldn't sport anything less than 18"s and should be unique.

^looks so sleek and phat at the same time..

Re: Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Cabrio (Spy pics & info) - Formerly CLK Model Line

Quite the opposite actually! It manages to hide it's big dimensions, while not looking "anorexic" as the E92. It is very classy and elegant, and with very modern lines!

:t-cheers:

It's classy and elegant alright, but a whale too. It's freaking huge, Hardly competition to a simply 3er coupé. This Merc here looks twice as heavy...(and expensive!)

Re: Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Cabrio (Spy pics & info) - Formerly CLK Model Line

Just wait ...

E -coupe needs 22-inch rims to look good. Otherwise the 2nd half of the car looks sooooooooo heavy.

The car has Bentley Conti GT heavy look ... Don't like that ...

I'm more interesed how this car will be priced ... How much above the sedan? What will fill the gap in C-coupe segment?

:t-hands:

Let's not exaggerate, the chrome strip does a good job breaking up the huge surface area in the rear. As for the price I don't think there will be any higher increase than a few percentages. The W208 CLK had the exact same exterior as the W210 E-class but yet it was price comparably with the 3er, although it had the usual Benze premium on the price tag.

Does anyone know if the Coupe will be at Detroit?

That orange would go over great here in Tennessee. Can you put a big white "T" on the side.

Re: Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Cabrio (Spy pics & info) - Formerly CLK Model Line

The front 3/4th looks great, the last quarter not so...very bulky and the roof line and door line even has the upturned banana thing going on ala CLS.

Re: Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Cabrio (Spy pics & info) - Formerly CLK Model Line

One thing MB needs to do ASAP is follow BMWs trend with putting the orange side reflectors integrated into the wheel arch of the bumper. It's so much more attractive that the silly huge orange reflector.

Hi everyone!

My reliable local dealer has just told me that official E Class Coupe photos will be finally released on January 10th, as expected. Just 7 days left... :usa7uh:

Dealers still don't know how much pricey the car will be. Salesman will test (yes, drive) the car on February and receive an E-Class intensive course to be able to sell the car properly :D

Until late February or March, first units won't be placed.

Finally, on early summer, E Coupe's will be seen on the roads!! :t-drive:

Cheers!:t-cheers:

This car looks incredibly well. This particular spy shots, shows the best combo, AMG pack and black colour, I really like it.

Re: Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Cabrio (Spy pics & info) - Formerly CLK Model Line

The proportions of the this car just don't look right to me. Some of the styling detail is also not to my taste. Hopefully it looks better on release because except for large presence observable I don't see alot of this car that I like. The E Class on the other hand looks superb!
