The BMW F10/F11/F07/F18 is the sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series, manufactured for model years 2010–2017. The body styles of the range are: 4-door sedan/saloon (F10), 5-door estate/wagon (F11, marketed as "Touring"), 5-door fastback (F07, marketed as "Gran Turismo"), and 4-door long wheelbase sedan (F18, sold only in China and the Middle East). @SCOTT27 we have been kept in the dark long enough now. will the F10 LCI have a MODERN LINE, SPORT LINE and we know it will have M Sport pack...so, will we have 3x different bumpers? Just that small amount of info please, so we can settle it and get on with it, please!?

Yes the F10 inherits model lines and an M-Sport Option.
There are new wheels and trim elements both exterior and interior to distinguish these models.

Anyone know if the M5 facelift will happen at same time as regular 5er?
Plan on buying but will wait for facelift.

The M5 will be facelifted but apart from the refreshed optics the cars aerodynamic packet remains the same. M changes are never too drastic , the aerodynamics and intakes are honed to perfection that there is no need to alter.

Will the new M5 have the facelifted nose and kidneys?

Finally the console has trim on it. Looks so much better!!

It is like for the M3 E9X. The center console trim of the M3 is different compare to the normal 3 Series, because it has some added buttons on the side. For the M5 F10 the difference is the gear shifter, 8 AUT vs. 7 DCT. In the states, where the M5 has manual, you could swap the trim. The reason for no special trim are costs. It is cheaper to make a piece of plastic and cover it with leather. Funnily, now there does exist a CF center console trim for the M3 E9X. Could not they make it before?

The button for the armrest lid is in pearl chrome (plastic that looks like chrome). Looks a lot better than that plastic (plastic that looks like plastic that looks like plastic) button.

Okay the sat mac has it chrome applications and that's all. Well apart from the new steering wheel.

And the touch-pad iDrive-controller + F01 LCI instrument cluster and it looks like the same size screen as in the 6er (i guess)(y)

You're correct about the touch-pad iDrive controller. However, the F01 LCI instrument cluster is already available now as a cost option on the 5 Series (it's also a cost option on the 7 Series) so is nothing to do with the facelift. I had a play with it on a 5 Series at Geneva and it really is a fancy and useful bit of kit.

Can always count on you boys to get me what I need-info, pics and more info! Looking at the FL, I prefer the current version. The FL grille looks...smaller, dare I say it-even squishy? Like the new 3. And I'm no fan of the look of the new 3s.

Don't think an M sport pack can save it. Will be keeping an eye out for one on the road soon.
