Extremely relieved to hear that! ...because if you liked the pre-facelift, and I did not, then it stands to reason that if you do not like the facelift, I most certainly will.

I get that, somehow. The pre-facelift seems a lot more raw and edgy, but it's not for all. The LCI will be easier to stomach.

Thanks for that one! Yes, that is a very good comparison. I know I'm in the minority here, but I think the original E65 was needed and it made a huge impact - let's hope the F20 LCI can still be exciting, not only pleasing.

Pic that I took from a bmw brochure that was included in a local newspaper. It says that in the 'BMW closed room' secrets are unveiled. The BMW closed room is a room behind the scenes of the upcomig Brussels car show which starts next week.

I guess the car on the left side must be the facelift of the 1-series and the car on the right must be the 2-series gran tourer?

The car on the left - the lights look nothing like the facelifted 1 Series.

What is your initial impression of this LCI, Betty?

I think the front looks better, definitely, but I don't really have a problem with the pre-LCI front.
