A little stretched out SL headlights might look pretty good actually. I believe that this one is fairly close to the real car, and it looks quite nice.

Mercedes-Benz USA President Steve Cannon has tweeted pictures of the 2014 GLA and S-Class Coupe undergoing testing in Death Valley.
The executive didn't have much to say about the models but confirmed the CL replacement will be called the S-Class Coupe and said "It's amazing!"

Last time SC was delighted about something Mercedes, he was talking about the S Class, in late 2012/early 2013. It turned out to be more than great, and hopefully, he's right this time.

What is the black car behind S Coupe (and in front of SL)? (In the first picture).

Also, here is the second picture SC twitted: The focus is on GLA, but you can see the S Coupe just behind S Class.

The most logical choice would be the SL.

I really hope,it won't get these big and stupid looking headlights, like the brand new s and the sl have. Especially
the sl's headlights... they look so silly.
I hope,they will be much more narrower and aggressive.

The shutlines of the door(s) leave me suspecting that this may be a rendering of an upcoming S-Class 4 door coupe.

I read it would be presented first as a Concept. Just the production car with some extra sauce as with the 4 Series.

I was also under the impression it would be presented as a concept in Frankfurt ?? Then again in Geneva?

Of course, I wouldn't complain if they just presented it in Frankfurt.

I can easily envisage a concept car which, in appearance, is extremely similar to the actual future production model. Not unlike the Mercedes-Benz concept Vision CLS which was presented at the IAA in 2003. The production C219 CLS was almost identical to the Vision CLS.
