already looking very promising, although early, but main details can blurringly be seen, overall it seems this would be considerably more relaxed and even more classy in nature compared to 204 which already is high level, loving the ultra sophisticated and sleek windows line, although a mild evolution of 204 it is considerable nonethless. it looks like the rear boot/rear wing shutline interface only currently seen on the 221 s-class is filtering down to this car,

i think it is safe to say this next generation of cars, would be a 'transitional' time, in other words i mean don't expect to see brand new revolutionary styling, but more so mildly yet notable evolution, as the next to next generation would be the complete leap forward in terms of revolution i'm talking f800's f125's etc, which are set to change the mold, but the next generation would be a darkhorse not in a bad way of course but you no what i mean, not too futuristic but systematically building on current design idiom, from what i am seeing with this and 222 considerably more refined too.

There is a lot riding on this car. The new C is going to be built in the U.S. (for U.S. consumption only though), it must contend with a new Cadillac that really looks like a true competitor (the ATS), and the quality needs to improve at best or stay seamless (vs the German built cars) at worst. Looking at the interiors on the new ML and GL, I think the build quality is going to be a non-issue now. Being built in the U.S. should translate into a small price decrease or at least added standard equipment at the same prices as the current car.

I would love Mercedes to do another C coupe, wagon and a soft top convertible. Move the E-Class coupe/convertible to the true E platform and move it out the way so the C Coupe/Convertible can thrive and not be an afterthough as some people think the current one is.

Mercedes has done a great job with the current car, it is selling like hotcakes, but this is their chance to take the segment in sales at least if the next one is done even better with 4 bodystyles.

Hey look!! You can see those wonderful lines on the side underneath the camo. This should lend itself towards an endless number of comments. :)

In all seriousness though. My favorite part about my 2013 C is the interior. I love the dash layout. Simple, yet sophisticated. Not gimmicky. I'm afraid that stand alone I-pad looking screen from the A-class is going to be in the C. Not a fan.

Our spy photographers have captured the very first images of the next generation C63 AMG sedan. A completely new C-Class range will be unveiled in about a year, and this will of course be the main jewel of the crown, a performance machine for the compact executive sedan segment.

The biggest change is that the next C63 AMG will swap the current 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 for a new twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8, like the one used by basically the whole AMG family.

The M157 displaces exactly 5461cc with a bore of 98 mm and stroke of 90.5 mm. There are currently four states of output for this engine. In the E63 AMG and CLS63 AMG, this means 525 hp in base configuration, which is what the C63 AMG will likely make now.

Right now, this test vehicle is only a prototype for the 2014 C63 AMG, but you can still tell it’s got wider bumpers and wheelarches plus AMG-specific rims. Compared to the regular C-Class, it will have bigger air intakes.

As the model gets nearer to its debut, it should drop more of its camouflage to reveal a sleek new super sports sedan

The C-Class is moving more upmarket and upscale. The car looks a bit longer and wider; its profile and lines give it a stronger and more aggressive stance (not that the current W204 is weak, it's a very sexy car). It's just that the W205 appears more grown up. Especially now that the B-Class EV and CLA-Class are coming in as the new entry-level Mercedes-Benz models in the United States, it is definitely understandable. Now the C-Class will excute more status! More Mercedes to love

If MB wants to stay competitive in the segment, they have no other choice but to grow the C class. A longer car will give passengers more room in the rear, and a wider track will enable the car to turn with wider, grippier wheels.

Believe it or not, a B-class saloon is in consideration.. before anyone yell, note that the CLA is basically a smaller saloon below the C.

The W205 is coming along pretty quickly especially for an AMG to be out so soon we usually dont see the AMG variants until the regular versions are in or near FEP phase, i'm pretty sure though that as with the W222 we'll be waiting until 2016 to see it

Very nicely proportioned. In that particular aspect, M-B has always been quite masterful. Well...save that exageratedly loooong hood on the SLRs' and SLSs'...
