CLS [Spyshots] 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS - First Photos without Camouflage

The Mercedes-Benz CLS (initially called the CLS-Class) is a series of executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from December 2003 to August 2023. The original model was a four-door sedan based on the Mercedes E-Class platform, marketed as a four door coupé. An estate (shooting brake) model was later added to the model range with the second generation CLS.

Hmmmmmm....? Face looks like a conventional CL. Rear looks like the Maser coupe. I may be in the minority here, but I do not like this at ALL!

So we're about a month out from the official pics now since they're doing another photoshoot I'd guess.

Look at the hips!

Best looking Mercedes in a long time... SLS doesn't count.

Mercedes should be carful with such stunning cars. With the Concept interior I would prefer this over any CL or S-Class!! Even the W212 can wrap up when this car launch (well, it will be still about 10.000 € more expensive.) So the CLS could be a real competitive for their on models. :D

The new CLS really looks incredible; even without the AMG pack it still looks plenty aggressive. I can't wait to see how the interior turns out.

Don't see why everyone is drooling, looks good but nothing extraodinary, this is standard merc effort, but the AMG Artist posted looks indeed terrific.

I'm baffled as to what everyone's basing their drools on via the OG pics posted in this Thread (maybe that's how much everyone wants to love it)? It looks like standard Merc effort for this type of car indeed, as you can't even see the detailing, and it's from a birds-view, lol.

The more recent, slightly camo'd pics (of the red and white cars) are what have spawned my interest in the likely outcome of the car, messy character lines aside. Those are more worthy of the confidence in what the car will become, as even through the camo, you can see MUCH more than what these non camo pics show.

It's great that MB finally decided to ditch the double fogs...hopefully this will spread to the rest of the lineup.
