Those renders are absolutely HORRID and there is no way the next E Coupe will look like that. I don't think I've see a more awful and inaccurate rendering.

When we will see the first spy shots of the Eclass coupe?

We have to see before the Estate body. I think we will have the first spy shots from E-Coupe later from Christmas, more or less.

BTW, for me, the E-Class Coupé before facelift was one of the best designs in the front from Mercedes and I feel that Mercedes is now in a good way of design. I hope that Mercedes didn´t do one C-Class Coupe more big.

I`m thinking the next E-coupe will be on the conservitive side and will not be as radical as some of these ps jobs suggest. It might follow the C coupe in adopting the same face/ headlights as the sedan.
Of cource it will have the coupe grill with the star in the center. The interior of the E coupe might also be the same as the W213 sedan just as thay are in the C coupe and sedan.

If this happens it might change some expectations. I don`t see why, after all it is an E-Class
and not a stand alone model.

My guess is, the E coupe interior, especially the dashboard, will look different from the sedan's. My personal wish would be a Coupe with a classic grill and a star standing on the hood. Just like it was last seen on the C124

Well, taking into account how accurate the C-Class renderings by Larson were since day one, I give those quite a lot credit. For example, Larson was the first one to know the C-Coupe would feature a higher, less dropping shoulder line with incorporated door handles. Thus I believe at least this E-Coupe side profile is totally accurate.

And, taking into accout the weird looking C-Coupe rear, I would give credit to those rearlights as well.

I ask myself whether there is actually room for a C213 E-Class coupe/cabriolet. The C205 C-Class coupe has grown in dimensions and the C217 S-Class coupe/cabriolet is not much larger than the upcoming W213 E-Class sedan.

Will M-B, in the end, simply opt for the 4 door CLS successor ?

There's a HUGE price gap between an S-class and C-class Coupe, so yes, there is definitely room for a C213.

Coupes are usually shorter than the sedans. A E Klasse Coupé will fit perfectly between the C Klasse and S Klasse coupes. My estemate is the E Klasse Coupé will be circa 4.85 metres long.

The next generation prototype, should be roaming the streets by now am i right?
The Sedan is 2 months away from revealing date

Nice
The headlights probably won`t look like that. Those are from the f/l CLS.
Give it the headlights of the new E sedan and you have a winner there.

Looks like my prediction is coming true with the latest render.

I'd like the coupe to have different headlights to the sedan - like the S does.

You mean headlight graphics. I would not mind that either.
The W213 E sedan has the latest HD LED lenses that do not require quad designs like the S-Class sedan and coupe. MB would have to come up with another set of funky graphics without touching those lenses. Changing the lenses would probably be another $million dollar investment. Good chance thay will probably be the same in both the sedan and coupe like the S-Class.
Different graphics? maby.

They need to step up their game on this one. BMW will no doubtbe comming strong with the new 6er.

The 6-Series sits between the 7er and 5er.
So the 6 is a higher model than the E coupe. MB has raised the bar so damn high for the E-Class though. It`s like the wife of the S-Class and queen of the entire fleet.
(till the new CLS comes along.)

Makes me wonder why they couldn't base the E-Coupe off the CLS coupe.
It would be nice if the E-Coupe was more exclusive and luxurious than the sedan counterpart. (A bit like the S)

Interesting thought.

Render from AMS is very, very good, but I think they will do more easy. The front from the new E-Class and the rear as S-Class Coupe and C-Class Coupe. I hope to be wrong, but later to see the "same" design from rearlights in S-Class Coupe (I think was the first) and later in C-Class Coupe and GLE Coupe, I'm convinced they will continue in the same line.
