Cooper [Spy Shots] Next-generation MINI (F6X)

Do you think the JCW trim at the rear is a bit too much ? I am caught between 2 cars. I love the front end of the JCW packet, but prefer the interior of the non JCW 'favoured' trim . Also, it seems the green I want in a JCW may only be available with a red roof.
No I like it a lot. I think of this car as a boutique car/design if that makes sense.

I just noticed that the top speed is only 170km/h
Have they lost their minds ?

Who needs to go faster? Most people don’t live beside unrestricted autobahns. Not many EV’s have really high top speeds, with a few exceptions, Tesla reduced the top speed on the face lifted Model 3.

I guess this is true, for me 180 would have been the sweet spot. I usually only use the Mini around town, but I have driven it to Munich and Berlin … because I could get a washing machine in it and not in the Taycan. On these trips I was driving around 200. But this is an exception to the rule.

I bet the actual JCW will be 20km/h higher top speed.

Yup. I don't think you can reach those speeds in the centre of Milan, Barcelona, Paris or London.

You got a washing machine in the back, was it in the box or did you remove the packaging? That's amazing.

As there are already some JCW's on the streets registered and in public presentations according to the photos posted, there are still no official photos of it? @SCOTT27 do you have something stored there or did they forget to take them? ;)

As it stands, it looks like if you want a green JCW, you must take a red roof. It's a little too Christmasy for me.

What horrible photos, they have all the space in the world around the car to take good photos, but the common sense of a fly, influencers......when these people assume power in the next 10/20 years everything will start to recede. in favor of general mediocrity

This new MINI is a home run. I can’t remember a new car generation that, maintaining as much as this MINI does the heritage of the brand, manages to evolve it in such a convincing way.

I would go for the EV, black JCW. The price is great here in Spain. It’s just a bit small for my needs.
Really ? I got two quotes in the end, because the first guy would not budge despite the car being 10k less in Germany without any discount. The second quote was 6k less than his, without me even haggling. I think the first guy thought he had me trapped because I had already paid 1000 bucks for the pre order.

It was a really infuriating experience at first, but then a pleasant one, once I spoke to a dealer that I knew, and actually our company had cars from. Should have just done that in the first place.

Congrats my friend!! Very nice indeed. Keep us posted please.

I personally like the iD2 GTI a tad more, but who knows when that will arrive. Probably in like two years at the earliest.
Thanks, will do.

Yeah, there is always something new on the horizon, but I am quite happy with Mini. No idea how this will compare to my last one.

Indeed, it was pointless mentioning a car that do not even exist.
You made a great choice. Best new Mini since the first BMW made one.

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
