If the E-class coupe will look 90% like this AMS render then it will be a winner. My guess that it will grow in size quite a bit compared to the current version, which is almost the same size as the just launched C-class coupe. Maybe about 4.82m long so so, about 200mm less than S-Coupe and 120mm longer than C-coupe.

Absolutely agree. Although this might be similar, it could look even better than C and S.

If they follow current protocol it will be halfway between the C-Klasse and S-Klasse Coupe.
Familiar but designed to complement the other two. It won't be anything radical or cutting edge visually.

Doesn't look much bigger than the C Coupe and the proportions are the same as the current car. I hope this gets better looking because this first impression/sighting sucks.

big news.....when I was thinking they are not making an E-coupe successor, great things happening at MB nowadays, I just hope it inherits the brilliant interior from the saloon, plus it is 100% E-class, not C/E like current one.

The car in those pics certainly looks much larger than the current E-class coupe especially length and width. Let's hope it will be a stunner Like the C-class and S-class coupes

I hope that read deck lid is camo, it looks like the disgusting rear of the Bangle 6er
Other than that it looks promising

Finally! This is going to be sexy!

The original E class coupe (W123, W124) were very attractive cars. W124 was even better than W123 IMO. However in the CLK guise the cars became far less attractive especially the second and the third generation. The real E coupe is back. I wish that they offer the sedan grille as an option on this car.

If they apply the same strategy on this car like they did with the W205 and C205, the C213 will get the exact same front like the sedan with a different grill.

Looks like it will get very slim tail lights which is a good thing :)

It´s just me or this car does not have even a little dropping shoulder line?

MB seems to have ditched this design idea.

UGH, same blobish shape as the current car. I really hope they get this right.

The shape of the current E Coupe really works when you see it in person, especially close-up. I have had my E500 for nearly two years now and I am very happy with the exterior design. The interior is a bit staid but it works and the quality is excellent (though no match for my old man's W222 S500).

Do I see myself owning the new E Coupe? Yes, if I don't move up the scale. The SL is a non-starter as I just can't live with that interior. Down the scale, the C Coupe has a B-pillar and that just doesnt work for me. A 911 Carrera S is very pricey with the desired options.

Ideally, I'd like a C63 sedan or a Tesla P90D and a BMW M2. But the problem is I only have one parking space so this won't work out.

The E Coupe is probably the best option for me.
