X5 (G65) [Spy Shots] Next Gen BMW X5 (G65) and iX5 - coming in 2027?


The BMW G65 is projected to be the fifth generation of the BMW X5 range. It will replace the X5 (G05). Expected to debut in Summer 2026. Production: 2027- (estimated)

Longer, but less high and less wide compared to the current. Interesting. At least it looks like we are not getting longer overhang with the extended wheelbase going by these numbers.....
 
Looking forward to both new iX5 and X5 models. The current X5 is still a great looking car and has aged well. I have seen plenty on the road since I came back home to South Africa.
 
If these shots were taken at a private in-door preview, it is bad. Really bad for BMW, since the X5 wasn't supposed to be seen until May-June.

Interesting placement for the ///M logo, on the bottom part of the front doors. As well, can someone confirm if this X5 M60e (G65) model was equipped with new ///M mirrors, like the current X5 M60i/X5 M models?
 
That rear design - imho - is best in class.

The front though, is too close to the iX3, and the iX3 appears to be prettier so far, but of course too early to judge, these photos are not suitable for a final verdict.
 
Those four exhaust pipes, hanging neatly from the ends, are sexy and a first on a non-M X5.
