GT [Spy Shots] Mercedes-AMG Four Door Coupe

The Mercedes-AMG GT is a series of 2-door sports cars produced by Mercedes-AMG. While not directly replacing the SLS AMG (competing in a different segment), it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG.
Scott is very adept at making posts which on the face of it seem like that of an insider with insider knowledge, when in fact if you study them, they're vague and tell you nothing that anybody couldn't just work out for themselves, OR, which cannot be proven wrong. On the occasions he's posted info which COULD be later proven to be correct or incorrect, he's often way off the mark, such as the G30 launch schedule. For correct insider info, yguldyn is pretty much spot on and detailed every time.

He very rarely corrects people when they talk as if he still works at BMW, which I find annoying.

Thanks for your concern Billy Schwartzporsche. Yes I work for the industry in a consultant role now so I do get invites to these press and media launches should I A wish to attend. And B visiting that particular show.
Attending many in the run up to and on the eve of Geneva. Because I will be there.
And you can go to your dealer and ask if you can get an updated service or product bulletin but make sure it is past certain dates and you can become an insider too.

I have no idea what relevance this has to the post I made?

This angry fellow may find it cramped in the back seat of the new AMG GT 4 door liftback.

I'm only trying to help.

Maybe MB will offer a single rear seat option.

Complete with those little front seatback retractable trays (perhaps in "sporty" carbonfiber ?) for supersized chili cheese fries and rear cupholders that will accomodate Supergulp Coke Classic cups.

Hmm... Where have I seen that front bumper...?

Oh yep, in the rest of the MB line up!

Color me "optimistic" at this stage.

A fixed wing, if it appears at all, will hopefully be reserved for a "GT R" or "Edition" model. Better still, it will not appear at all. Unsightly as it is juvenile. And it truly f***s up the otherwise cool visual flow.

Rear end looks very bulky. As much so as first gen Panamera.

I personally perceive the integrity of the AMGs' proportions to be superior to that of the first-gen Panamera, the latter often appearing a bit "blunt/snub-nosed". The rear door glass of the AMG also appears to present a more rakish, far more sharply ascending curvature.
