Some rumors from Maranello engine testers: this V12 will be a heavily revised version of the current 6.5L, higher revving (10k), higher output (870hp), and will not have any hybrid support. It’ll be the last hurrah for the NA V12.

Then a Competizioni Versione send off! LOL!

I am a bit surprised there’s not even any mild hybrid setup

There's debates about that. Whether it's got even minor assistance. But nobody knows. I got told to wait until Mondali Finanali or something for a reveal. But what they couldn't say!

Ferrari 812 Successor Spied Wearing Closer To Production Body For The First Time
"Although it's still wearing heavy camouflage, this is the first time Ferrari has been caught testing the upcoming followup to the 812 Superfast without fake Roma body panels!

We’ve been aware of Ferrari’s efforts to develop a successor to the 812 Superfast for a while, as it has undergone testing on multiple occasions. However, the test mule had previously featured fake Roma bodywork. Recently, it was spotted with new exterior components, potentially providing further clues about its appearance once the camouflage is eventually removed.

Internally known under the code-name F167, the prototype has now shed the Ferrari Roma’s distinctive front grille and rear design. Even during its previous guise as the Roma, it was evident that this model is longer and wider than the entry-level grand tourer.

In this iteration, it features a compact, square inlet at the front and a flat hood with prominent bulges above the front wheels. With its exceptionally lengthy hood, it has almost an exaggerated two-door coupe aesthetic, which will no doubt please fans of classic Ferrari designs.

Although extensive camouflage conceals many of the car’s specifics, the heightened rear haunches and the prominent spoiler strongly suggest that it will adhere to the proportions of the current 812 Superfast.

However, while it’s too early to say for sure, from these photos it looks like the F167 will have simpler, smoother body panels than the 812 Superfast. In that, it may share some of the Roma’s simple elegance.

Under the hood, a recent video suggests that the vehicle will continue to be powered by a high-revving V12 engine. It’s unclear what Ferrari has planned for the powertrain, but the 812 Competizione currently squeezes 819 hp out of its 6.5-liter, naturally-aspirated V12 engine.

Unfortunately, it’s still not clear exactly when Ferrari plans to unveil the followup to the 812 family."

Not a hybrid from what I’m told and 812 values will get smoked.
Haven’t resale values of front-engined Ferrari’s not always been smoked? Aren’t they sacrificial cars that customers buy and spec to the moon in order to be offered the opportunity to buy limited run models.

812’s have done well in the States since Covid they were $100k cheaper in 2020

Perhaps because it was rumored that the 812 gen was the last gen that was "pure" and without any electrification.

This. F12 looks better and is more raw to drive. 812 values were pretty brutal and then shot up when buyers started wanting to grab the "last NA front engined Ferrari". Well, I predict it to be the ugly middle duckling between the F12 and whatever this monster is.

On a side note, what an amazing line up Ferrari has going. A monster V12 SUV, a soon to be released 800+ HP V12 NA front engined super GT. The softer but very attractive Roma and the Hybrid monster 296 which is only quicker than basically anything else you can buy.....

The Ferrari 812 Competizione and 812
Competizione Aperta. Yes they were I'm sure definitely. I'd never even of considered that? I'd forgotten.

Well they put the V12 in the Ferrari Purosangue too without assistance so it's all muddied the waters some?

This is what Ferrari wants you to believe the same way BMW and Porsche wants you believe and pay premium for the never ending "last" manual model.

I wasn't too keen on the 812 upon it's debut, especially when compared to the Pininfarina-designed F12 and the F12TdF. Now, I've grown to like it, and that includes the Mansory-lite Competizione. I still think the F12 has the best proportions and the 599GTO is still the GOAT as far as S.E. Ferraris are concerned.

The TDF and the Comp are the only two I care for.. the rear of the F12 is very weak and the 812 front and rear are weird
