Not likely at the moment. That same V10 was with the anniversary M5 and was even tested in the F10 , possibly the great talking point of the E60 was the V10 - it truly was engineering genius and that noise will never leave you. I know someone at M who has a collection of BMW engine noises on their iTunes.
With the engine developed by M as was the strategy for the CS project under Gerhard Richter , had the economic uncertainty not arrived you can only imagine how great this car could have been?
Thats sad to hear. I agree with you 100% on the S85. No offense to the people that worked on the S63, but it is not even half as great of an engine as the V10 was. It gave the E60 such an exotic feel. So much so that it is probably the closest a regular production sedan has ever been to being a supercar (or at least in my opinion).
What would it take to get that person at ///M to release those engine sounds?
