Hmm, the only thing that interests me are the torque figures. Don't care about 0-60 mph/0-100 km/h seconds. Not in this class.

Heck of a stance on that. Just not feeling the faux muffler tips...that's a trend that needs to die a very quick death, IMO.

Integrated into the rear bumper the 7er has two exhaust outlets and depending on the model each outlet on each side features either twin or single exhaust tips.
The flagship 760Li will feature a quad exhaust outlet.

There are only two things Im looking forward to in the new G11, exterior wise are that the tail light graphics and Grills slats which did not came theough.
If BMW could not bring the OLED to G11, atleast try to close the gap on the two lamp which are join (bootild and body) it will create a much more fluid design lines on the LED graphic itself, and a much more expensive feel. Since this tech has been introduced in every BMW line up for many many years now, the new 7 should set a higher standard. Another thing is I wish those grill' slats on VFL concept made it into production already, atleast for an option or individual perhaps?. The slats that being used now is getting toooooo boring and did not give the 3D effect that BMW are now trying to introduce in thier new design asthetic.
Well, other than that. I think the car will be brillaint!

For some reason it appears that in my attempt to post something overwhelmingly positive, I've come across as sarcastic. Whoops.

I'm currently in Marrakech on a boys holiday. One of my friends is a BMW salesman in the UK and he's very excited that he took an order for his first G11 last week. We've talked a lot about the 7 Series these last few days, and he's a big fan of what he's seen and heard, both in the public domain and through insiders at BMW.

I too am looking forward to next week and the official unveil. One of the big events of the year for me.

But tell me why I can't take the piss out of the endless promotional posts from a BMW employee? I don't care who he is. This is a car fan forum, not bmw.com. You constantly mention MB fanboys. As far as I'm concerned, Scott is a BMW fanboy, and deserves to be treated equally. So I will continue to make quips and bring him back down to earth, just as you would a MB fanboy.
