That's the Volvo XC90.
You are correct, the door handles do look quite similar to Porsche's design but the one end of the handle curves in the opposite direction the Porsche door handle.

2016 BMW 7-Series rendered based on spy shots

The next generation BMW 7-Series (G11) has been rendered once again, prior to this year's official launch.

This latest digital interpretation is based on the spy shots which emerged on New Year's Eve depicting an undisguised prototype featuring an evolutionary design. On the inside it will likely get the touchscreen iDrive system and a TouchCommand rear seat control system previewed last month at CES. While the first one is self-explanatory, the second system is basically a Samsung tablet featuring a special BMW app which allows rear seat passengers to control most of the car’s functions.

Hiding underneath the familiar design is an entirely new car based on BMW's upcoming "35up" platform which combines aluminum with carbon fiber and high-strength steel. The new lightweight construction should grant a 200 kg (440 lbs) weight loss compared to the outgoing model. The massive diet should allow BMW install a four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine inside the base model where it will likely develop 260 HP (191 kW).

Several newly developed six-cylinder engines are planned along with a plug-in hybrid version likely getting a four-cylinder gasoline motor teamed up with an electric motor to provide a combined output of 300 HP (220 kW). There's also going to be a V12 6.6-liter from the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Wraith which will generate around 600 HP (441 kW). Sitting on top of the range will likely be an M750i version featuring the V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine from the M5 but further tweaked to develop in excess of 600 HP.

The next generation BMW 7-Series is expected to receive its public reveal in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

I see some reality especially in relation to the character line at the front wheel arch widening along the length of the car giving a more three dimensional look but then they went overboard with some of the more intricate detailing.

This thread is really dead after we saw the real deal. Maybe BMW should focus on the M Pack G11 in terms of spy pics.

3 months to go.

It's dead because nothing new came after those pics, not because of those pics.
This thread will be alive and well soon enough again.

Yes Ring season is upon us as is Spring so we will get too see more pro types fine tuning with larger wheels instead of winter wheels and more colors. Same goes for the X1 and M2 some of which are now about to start running semi disguised with production wheels etc.

I think we can ignore the title "BMW M7...". But this is not the theme. :)
