Disguise is being peeled away except that crucial front end. But the Convertible is looking good with the soft top.

Should the mid-flank horizontal, wheelarch blister-connecting tendon-line detected under the swirly-foil be found on the unveiled car, I'd say that BMWs' design team has accomplished something quite good. That particular element lends a tension and congruity that isn't found, for example, on the somehow "disconnected"-looking 8 series cars. Great cabriolet-top graphic as well. Very taut with a good flow.

Hm. Some final verdict on the G22 shutline? There have been (older) pics, where the shutline looked F3x awfully ... now the latest pics from carscoops, the shutline looks much more aesthetic like with the G20 ... (n)

I'm seriously disappointed with soft top. Since few generations we had hard top. Is it going to be discontinue or we are going to have an option to choose? I'm baying this car only because it had hard top, it is great for Canadian weather. :(

It will probably get a hardtop too, don't worry!

Plot twist though, you can't take the hardtop off:

I personally am delighted to see the 4 seater cabriolets return to the softtops.

Seeing it so uncovered, one would say that it is about to be revealed at any time, in photos I like this normal version of the front more without the M Sport treatment, but everything is in person and to be able to compare them

I f'ing love the fact that the softtop is back. Soooo good! That's one (heavy) fad less!
The roof also looks tight like a hardtop with fabric over it, gorgeous.

Too bad about the rearlights, frontlights and grille :dead: The LCI is going to fix all that I hope. 3 years to go!

Would love to see a red/blue/white canvas for the top as other competitors for a change BMW.

I wouldn't worry about that.....I'd say this is an absolute given.
