It is common for SUVs. Some customers of the G01 X3 complained about it but said that cars with acoustic(double glazing) glass don't have the issue. Guess what I did? Specced my car with acoustic glass. When I test drove a RRS D350 it was very quiet but it did have excessive wind noise at highway speeds from side mirrors, but salesman said its normal on a SUV.
Now JLR recognized the issue and redesigned the side mirrors to alleviate the wind noise problem.

This is why it's always good to test drive several cars, including for low speed driving and the motorways. Not matter how great the spec sheet it, it's little things that can make or break the car for you.In my experience the Audi Q8 and BMW iX with acoustic glass were quieter and more stable at highway speeds than 2023 RRS I drove.
I'm looking to test a newer RRS P460 to see the wind noise and how it handles at 2.7 tons.
