Range Rover Sport [Spy Shots] 2022 Range Rover Sport

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport, generally known as the Range Rover Sport, is a mid-size luxury SUV produced by Land Rover, later Jaguar Land Rover. The first generation (codename: L320) started production in 2005, and was replaced by the second generation Range Rover Sport (codename: L494) in 2013, which was replaced by the third generation Range Rover Sport (codename: L461) in 2022.

When I test drove a RRS D350 it was very quiet but it did have excessive wind noise at highway speeds from side mirrors, but salesman said its normal on a SUV.
Now JLR recognized the issue and redesigned the side mirrors to alleviate the wind noise problem.

It is common for SUVs. Some customers of the G01 X3 complained about it but said that cars with acoustic(double glazing) glass don't have the issue. Guess what I did? Specced my car with acoustic glass.

Large wing mirrors mandated by regulators are the culprit. Good that JLR redesigned them on the RRS.

In my experience the Audi Q8 and BMW iX with acoustic glass were quieter and more stable at highway speeds than 2023 RRS I drove.
I'm looking to test a newer RRS P460 to see the wind noise and how it handles at 2.7 tons.

This is why it's always good to test drive several cars, including for low speed driving and the motorways. Not matter how great the spec sheet it, it's little things that can make or break the car for you.

When I testdrove a Skoda Superb a few years ago I was annoyed that the heated seats heat up slower and don't reach the same max temperatures as in the bimmers that I owned. This might be trivial to some but in the UK between Oct to April, heated seats is the first thing I switch on immedietly after ignition.
