Hoping it look a bit more "rugged." It looks like a Highlander that took an anabolic shot. Interior is nice, modern and plush. No doubt that this will be capable as previous LC's were, if not more so. Perhaps the next gen LC 200 series will be more suited for more rough-and-tumble duties.

They’re extremely tough, in the Middle East their a dime a dozen and for good reason, can handle extreme heat/cold, rough terrain and last as long as you maintain them. I have a relative with a 1997 model that still looks brand new and he daily’s his as well as takes it offroad, just regular maintenance required. Planning on getting the 2022 model myself.

Well said, one of my uncle is in construction in Dubai and from last 30 years he owns only Land Cruiser and Prado and each car he drives like 6-700000km and good things is still cars gives good resale value.

I know we mock BMW's for trending with an ever larger grille each of their new models, but this LC's front is a legit one giant grille. Save for the headlights, it's all grille, baby!

No more Land Cruiser in the US. And the new LX is a TT V6.

I'm thinking this was taken in a shipping yard in Australia since that's where the LC is built.
