Grecale [Spy Shots] 2022 Maserati Grecale

The Maserati Grecale (Tipo M182) is a front-engine, five-door, five passenger compact luxury crossover SUV (D-segment) manufactured and marketed by the Maserati subdivision of Stellantis, entering production at the company's Cassino Plant in March 2022. Internally designated model M182, the Grecale shares the company's Giorgio platform with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and the fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. The nameplate Grecale derives from the Mediterranean wind, Gregale.
I think it looks fantastic.

The front lights look better than the Levante. Industry rumours point to a similar direction for the next Quattroporte. Which could be more like Panamera, obviously electric or at least an electric option.

A bit nondescript and generic. Not at all ugly. Not at all exciting.

Not long the go! All it will need to succeed are good 4pot engined and decent levels of standard equipment.

Well, it's...."predictable". Quite acceptable fit and finish, it appears. The Folgore version is the genuinely interesting one.

The Stelvio looks sexier and more Italian. Maserati did a Rolls-Royce or a Porsche by playing it super safe with this one. The objective is to make this car recognisable as a Maserati from all angles using the grille, emblems and vents on the profile. Everything else is secondary.

That live reveal was the most depressing launch I have seen in ten years. Who the hell were these foreigners? Not Italians. Thank god only 3000 people watched it. Which in itself is another big L for a global luxury brand.
It was like a forced pretentious skit.
The car looks great however.

The EV version of Grecale (Folgore) with estimate of 800Nm power, 350+ miles range and 0-60 in 3.0s according to CarWow.
