C-Class (W206) [Spy Shots] 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class W206 spied pics & info thread

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206) is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which is produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG since 2021. It replaces the W205 C-Class which had been produced since 2014. The fifth-generation C-Class is available in sedan (W206), station wagon/estate (S206), and long-wheelbase sedan (V206) body styles. The W206 C-Class is based on the Mercedes MRA II rear-wheel drive modular platform also used by the W223 S-Class.

The profile looks good, glad to see this C-class will retain the nice proportions and short front overhang of current and previous generation models

Amazing how quickly technology progresses (although life-cycle remains the same), feels like yesterday the W205 came out.

Even with the cladding, looks like the C will remain a baby S.

Looks to have a nice stance..

Looks like it will have a high rear end unless it's just a camo piece..

Profile looks nice and the side profile looks clean..

Looking positive I think mite be more of a evolutionary design outside and most changes will be inside ..

Agreed, it felt just like yesterday when the W205 was spotted. Seems like Mercedes is going ahead with the inverted headlights and grill for its entire range of cars, hence the dramatic face lift of the E class.

This generation should be expected towards the end of 2020 (probably, December) as a MY2021 vehicle.

From what it looks right now, the overall shape of the body is to be retained and a bit sharpened up. Nonetheless, I expect it to be a mini-W 223 S-Class, which is in line with the tradition. Though, I would like a more cohesive, mature and attractive design rather than a 3rd generation Sensual Purity. It is time to move on to a next chapter, without "sensual" and without "purity".

It's the only logical outcome now that the A-Class hatch, sedan, CLA and shooting brake play the role as the more progressive and extrovert designs for millennials and soon, Generation Z.

This would only be the 2nd generation of sensual purity; and as long as he continues to evolve the design philosophy I don't see a reason to abandon it. And the evolution is readily apparent- all of his recent designs have an inherit aggression to them that was lacking from his first generation.

"Sensual Purity" following a high-protein, low-carb diet + intense cardio and high-repetition/low weight load training. Definition, vascularity and low body fat. M-B getting a bit more "ripped" is a good thing methinks.

Based on these spy pics alone, I would say the Autobild render recently published looks quite accurate.

In a word a little too evolutionary thus far imo but we will see as time progresses..the rear windows quarter looks slightly odd mind..

spy pics make it look promising while those renders do not. here's hoping if there's a centrally mounted screens it's on there like an afterthought like in the 205's.

While I find Andrei Avarvarii a highly talented illustrator, I have noticed that accuracy in relation to the actual finished product often leaves much to be desired. Of course, that's so very common regarding automotive renderings in general.

Whatever. This looks like "W205 2.0." and I strongly suspect that the actual W206 will differentiate itself from its' predecessor far more convincingly.
