The Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio are a series of grand tourers produced by Maserati, succeeding the Maserati Coupé and Spyder.

if this level of power could really arrive for this car, and considering that the MC20 is starting from about 216.000 euro, is it reasonable to think a base brice for this car of about 185/190.000 euro in your opinion?
The car will be a GT sports car. That segment is crowded and competitive AF compared with then the outgoing Granturismo.

The outgoing car is a depreciation monster because it's been uncompetitive in relation to its performance and tech.

It would be silly if Maserati jacked up the price.

Really? More crowded than crossover and pickup segment? Maybe it is competitive and "crowded" because there are 5 cars for 1 sale a month worldwide.
The Maserati Granturismo is a GT sports car. This segment is being squeezed from both sides. Unlike in 2007 when the outgoing model launched:

-Refinement, power and tech isn't exclusive to $100k+ premium cars are more capable than ever.
-SUVs don't weigh much more than some saloon/coupes but are as capable and in some cases have a higher social status.
-Nowadays supercars by Ferrari and Lamborghini are comfortable enough to be driven daily.

Ok, that is right. But then it is not the (car) segment that is crowded, it is the market that requires certain criteria that is crowded, because vehicles from other segments meet those same criteria, which once only met by a particular vehicle segment.

I'm expecting this to be the Maserati to have. It will be cheaper and more authentic looking than the MC20.

That V6 though.....
That's the thing, if it's the Nettuno, I am sure it's more than adequate in the "oomph" department, but I think the turbo V8 will still sound better. That said, the V6 in the Alfa Giulia QV sounds quite good too, so maybe if it's either V6, there's not much to complain about. Embarrassment of riches, really.

The fully-electric Folgore version is the one that piques my interest. It will occupy a currently unique market segment.

Agree. The V6 in the Lotus Exile for example, sounds exotic both at start-up, idle and under load. The new Granturismo could sound good depending on whether Maserati want to market it as a GT or a GT sportscars. Serving both niches could be possible by offering hybrid variants or sports exhausts.
