CLS [Spy shots] 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS (Spy shots & Info)

The Mercedes-Benz CLS (initially called the CLS-Class) is a series of executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from December 2003 to August 2023. The original model was a four-door sedan based on the Mercedes E-Class platform, marketed as a four door coupé. An estate (shooting brake) model was later added to the model range with the second generation CLS.

Lorinser is a well-known and established tuner that has the challenging task of turning "ordinary" Mercedes-Benz models into special series vehicles, pumped full of power and high-end luxury. As expected, the second generation of the CLS-Klasse, which is on the verge on being officially unveiled, will also benefit from the Lorinser exquisite treatment. Just to make a fairly objective opinion on the new car, Lorinser has released a sketch showing how will the new tuned C 218 end up looking like when it's released sometime in 2011.

Both Lorinser and Brabus need to retire their "Design" aspects, they might as well take a hammer to these cars, with the absurdity they're releasing.

They used to be so nice, tasteful, and enhancing.

Blame AMG maybe, they're been so spot on with their Benz-enhancing stylings, nobody could touch them, not only do their designs look OEM classy, but they have enough flare to have that "modded" look, even after seeing them time and time again for years.

Very close to the real deal...

There's something oddly familiar about that front...I can see another German brand in that:eusa_thin...

I do hope the new CLS does not look like this. I also see many cues from MB's other models brushed here and there.

I guess we'll see when official pics are released.

You can only see a little bit of it, but that is a nice blue color. I have to say I am really excited about this car. Looks like it will be a true winner in the design department. Still waiting on an interior shot...if different from the spy shots shown before.

BTW..Was that the Audi A7 that passed the CLS in the video?

And the F10 5er pased the cls

:t-cheers:

Ah.

Still, I think even the SLS isn't the "true" Test of the new team, as they had the worlds nicest car of all time as a blue-print/starting point. :D

I wonder if this CLS was during Pfeiffers time as well. I'm sure it perhaps was? If not, then looks like the W222 will indeed be the first non SLS.
