X6 Spy pics: BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe

The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV by German automaker BMW. The BMW X6 is the originator of the sports activity coupé (SAC), referencing its sloping rear roof design. It combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all-wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (styling featuring a sloping roof).
Are you sure about that? If you look at this picture you will see that the xenon lights are on...

Of course they use functional headlights, but they are fake. Wait few days till bigger spy pics of FEP X6 prototypes with tape & "rear-bra" only.

When do you think we should see better pictures of the rear?

In the next FEP phase. The FEP phases have just started ...

Btw, my BMW friend from Munich still claims (got his email later today) the pre-FEP prototypes wear fake front bumpers.

So in the latest pics only the net from air intakes is gone, while bumpers are still the same fake ones.

We'll have to wait for better spy pics of FEP prototypes. They are heading towards Arizona, Nevada, CA for final extremely hot weather tests. With new turbo coolers, improved air intakes, and without all the camo that blocks air flow.

:t-cheers:

Thanks for the insight Eni.
Since BMW intend on offering the X6 with the N54 and N64 engine, will we see the N54 in the X5 first this year before we see it on the X6 early next year?
If this is the case, when will BMW replace the N62 engine with the N64 engine in the X5?
