Not bad for an every day driver, a second quicker than the fabulous F430 and only two seconds down on the brilliant Gallardo.

So it's Lambo Gallardo: 1 / Porsche 911 Turbo: 0

Now let's wait for GT2 vs. Superleggera.
Both cars ought to put in spectacular times.

People in the know, for the purposes of this discussion regarding Semi-R, R and non-R tyres can we get a couple of pics of the various tyres on offer and their tread patterns. This will go a long way to helping with understanding how the difference in performance results. A bit of an explanation would help too... Thank you.

The advantage is with the RS4: Co just 0,31, ceramic brakes, P Zero Corsa tyres and a limited topspeed of 262 km/h (not 250...). I'm quite sure that the new M3 will get Pilot Sport 2 or ContiSportContact3 tyres. That with the manual gearbox and rear wheel drive will give a time of ~8.12-8.13 min IMO. If they put Corsas or Pilot Sport Cups on it the time will be around 8.03-8.05 min. And if the topspeed won't be limited at 250 km/h the time will be around 8.00 sec.

So my forecast:
PS2/CSC3 tyres, 250 km/h: 8.12-8.13 min
PZC/PSC tyres, 250 km/h: 8.03-8.05 min
PZC/PSC tyres, 250+ km/h: 8.00 min

the car will be tested by sportauto. I dont know if this is with sportauto or just the koenigsegg crew testing.

I thought more like 9:59

On a serious note, I knew this car was fast but not sub 7:50 fast. I too was thinking around the same region of 7:52-54 but to go below 7:50...that's just nuts! To think there is a Z07 on the horizon.

When you look at the 7:49 and realize that this car only a few more grand than the RS4...it's F__king mind-bogling.

Doesn't even have P Zeros Corsas or R cups.
So the 7:43/44 is definately credible with proper tyres. Terrific machine.
