The customer Singer DLSs (the two green ones) shown at Goodwood seem to be a lot quieter than the red and silver cars in this video, a shame in my opinion.

How much of the DLS is actually a Singer and how much is Williams? Singer’s have always been one off specials, this is more of a production car.

tooling around in the Welsh (?) countryside.

Llandow circuit is in South Wales, yup... then I'm guessing it was up through the black mountains then across towards Tregaron maybe.

You could drive a really scenic route from Llandow Circuit, at the bottom of Wales, all the way up to Anglesey Circuit at the top. Including the odd stop for photo's, lunch (and the like), and do it in a day. Might be quite fun.

Ooooh, there's that funny feeling in the pant's section. Look at that! (the car, not my pant's section)

It really looks like a lovely place. Pardon my ignorance though, but they do close off sections of the road when the likes of Top Gear, Carfection, Evo, etc. are filming, right? Or is it usually that barren? I imagine just from the exposure from a show like Top Gear, that country roads like that would experience decent amounts of traffic.

BTW, if you end up doing that route and do take pictures, I'd love to see it. Driving and camping out in the Welsh and Scottish countryside is a bucketlist item. It's so dang peaceful and idyllic.

I actually don't know for a fact, but I doubt formal road closures happen that often - it costs money and has to be arranged well in advance. If you're not obstructing the road or doing anything deemed as not legal, I'm not sure you'd bother. Just pick a time when the road is less likely to be in use, and have a little patience - that's my guess. In this video all the aggressive stuff happens at the track, I think closing the roads for impressive vista shots would be overkill.. but I could be wrong.
