A huge mega galactic WOW!

The attention to details and sheer beauty of these Singer cars is poster wall stuff

Just when one thought Singer was incredible.... I didn't know there was another Porsche coachbuilder (Gunther Werks) until this weekend. Their focus is the 993. Singer is more my taste, but this is impressive.

Their carbon weaving [I believe] is more impressive than Pagani. 9(!) layers of clear coat as well

How prestigious is Porsche and how iconic is the 911 to have all this effort into bringing back their past iterations? I mean this is branding like a MF and Porsche is going to, now they have to take advantage of their status.

Without a shadow of a doubt one of Singer's less good looking cars. The faux retro is not working for me.

I MUCH prefer that carbon 993.

This is very true. You shoud/can follow them on Insta. Incredible company with some of the prettiest 911 cars ever made.

It's a phenomenal looking car, the specs are awesome, it's gonna drive great. But this ridiculous price of what 1.8 million€?! Give me a break! I would have for this money 911 Turbo S as a daily car, GT3 RS for trackdays and Carrera GT for my weekend drives. And I would still have some cash left, so I could also buy a Macan for my wife...

I'm sure I read somewhere that all 75 are spoken for. The numbers of unmodified 964's is going to get scarcer and the prices will continue to rocket skywards. I wonder if Porsche still have the tooling to make new shells?

All said and done restomod 911's are just a wee bit to commonplace these days so I'd prefer something like this XJ-6 built for Nicko McBrain . Jaguar LandRover have jumped into the restomod business, they will build anything you like from their back catalogue.

There's also a connection between this car and Singer, does anyone know it?

If I remember correctly, this is Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson's restomod Jag, who is cousins with the creator of Singer Vehicle's design, who himself was a singer in band whose name escapes me.

Almost right it’s owner is Nicko McBrain he’s the drummer for Iron Maiden.

The faux retro is not working for me.

Faux retro? How is faux possible when the 3.2 Carrera is a car from the 70s?

Singer's options for customisation are plentiful and if you don't like tartan fabrics, there are options for keeping the theme very simple and near OEM but with luxurious materials.

Because all the details are modern interpretations and not from the 70s.

Either way, Gunther Werks are my new heroes. Their 993 is the best 911 I have ever seen.

Fair enough. I see your angle. However I wouldn't call Gunther Werks 911s authentic either. While the carbon fibre work is gorgeous it's not true to the spirit of the 993 or its era.

It's only recently that carbon fibre has been fetished. Today, a well specced Ferrari is one with €30-40k in cosmetic carbon fibre touches. This didn't exist 20 years ago and neither did sports cars made in fully exposed carbon fibre. You have Pagani and Koenigsegg to blame for that trend.
