No it won't, the 63 engine produces "only" 510hp which doesn't do that much for the S and CL compared with the previous 55 engine.

Yeah I know spec-wise they are not comparable... but name-wise both might be mistaken to average buyers (read: dumb buyers). But no matter I guess.

Oh, thank God. I thought they'll add more power and put 700 HP in S-Class. I wouldn't like to see that. At the end, it's a comfy limo, not a sports car!!

Now just wait till around march 07 for the V8 AMG

The S65 looks wicked...love the interior and love the way MB changed the front so that it doesnt just look like other regular S classes with an AMG front bumper

The engine will not be the same one .. the E and CLS will get the NA 510hp unit..and CL S and SL will get a FI version of that.. so there is no connection..
