Every1 who praises an EQS or an i4 for their design probably must have a very advanced sight issue.

This is the best side comparsion, both Model S and Air aren’t beautiful cars, but Mercedes and BMW achieved another turd level, they look even worse IRL.

The i4 looks fine and looks good irl, significantly better than the 4er coupe since it has more defined body lines. It is nowhere near the level of ugliness or blandness of an EQS/EQE. The only 'offensive' part of it's design is the front end-grille.

I see them both very ugly, sorry. I don’t mind the tacky plastic grille of the i4/4, it cannot be defended, but IRL it’s so incredibly bloated and fat, in press photos they try to hide it playing with angles and light.

Since I saw the i4 the first time it always remind me of the Hyundai i30 Fastback…

The i4 and 4er GC are lardy dumplings. More so when compared to the sublime F36 GC. One would have to be short sighted not to see that what we have now is i4 / 4er GT.

Martin made a comparison to the F36 that wasn't favourable. That's fair enough, I don't completely agree, as I've highlighted before, the car's shape and size is bob-on the midpoint between the two, it's as much GC as it is GT, whilst maybe being neither, but in any case, it was a statement of preference, one over the other.

You implied it looks like a Hyundai i30.

These statements aren't the same. I don't have a problem with people not liking how something looks, but I find tenuous comparisons, a looks like b, immensely tiresome. It's a lazy way of implying something is bad. Like, 'I don't like it because it looks like an i30' doesn't actually say anything... why can't criticism just be framed in the context of the car being discussed?

I honestly don't see where the problem is, are you talking about design or that the entire GC line with its large grill is a worldwide sales super hit precisely because of its design?

One thing that I wish carried over to the I4/4-series GC was the 3-series GT's additional legroom. Not many customers were asking for that though I'm sure.

If anything, the i30 looks bloated compared to the i4 lmao. The i30 looks taller with a higher beltline in all of those pics, while the shortness makes it look stubbier.
