Of course I did. Big change in "persona" and down-the-road image but no fundamental change to proportions, silhouette etc. Body panels are body panels...
You and @klier are absolutely correct. I am happy to be wrong as this is the first BMW LCI I’ve heard of getting new body panels. Learn something new everyday. Now let’s see if the same happens for G70 LCI.History has it BMW has made sheet metal changes and it appeared on the 2020 7-Series LCI.
The hood line on the 2020 LCI 7er is a bit taller and much flatter than the 2016 model giving it a more luxury car appearance.
The nose is also flatter on profile than the previous version. These were big changes IMO.
With the new LCI, the designers are going to play with the hood and front end like before.
Auditioning for the reboot of “The Cars That Ate Paris”I expect some NK styling cues on FL. Probably grille pattern simmilar to new X3

The car in the spy shot had horizontal slats so I don’t think the grille pattern will look like thisI expect some NK styling cues on FL. Probably grille pattern simmilar to new X3

And I doubt they will be connected. Will probably be totally divided like on the new X3.The car in the spy shot had horizontal slats so I don’t think the grille pattern will look like this
Yes it was an M760e. Looks like THE 7 M Performance models will inherit the horizontal bars. The car in the spy shot had horizontal slats so I don’t think the grille pattern will look like this
What will that model be called and will it sit above the M60?
Looks as if the LED stripe had been removed and now the car only had the lower headlights.
Do you the mean the M760e?What will that model be called and will it sit above the M60?
Nice catchLooks as if the LED stripe had been removed and now the car only had the lower headlights.
Probably just a temporary thing.
