The interior in 1er belong to the previous generation. Take a look at New 5/6/7 and X3. They are ahead Audi and mb.

Sorry but I can't agree with your opinion here, yes they have dramatically improved but with each comparison, the D4 A8 is better than the 7er, the C7 A7/6 is better than the 5er/ Only the new X3 is in my opinion on par with the Q5.

They still have some way to go before you statement is correct and I doubt either MB or Audi will sit idle to allow that to happen.

There's no right or wrong here, only differences of opinion and as long as we can all respect this difference of opinion then there's no harm done.

I do see his point though, it might fall into line with RS models from the distant past like the original RS2 and RS4 but in recent years all RS versions have had single oversized ovals one at each side, it was the way to instantly know they from the rear. But you are quite in that this is one small failing compared to what BMW have done with the 1M.

So let me get this right, BMW using an engine from it mainstream line makes it "wrong", even ignoring the fact that it as good in every measurable way as the RS3 engine. But RS3 using a golf chassis is okay?

But I'm leaving this thread because the VAG fanboys are having a lot of crazy fun in here and I quite frankly think that the RS3 is a good car, just not compared to 1M

I won't say one is better than the other, both have their pros and cons. But for all practical purposes they are pretty much on the same level. RS3 engine does have one advantage, but laughably, no one here, neither ones praising RS3 engine nor ones criticizing BMW for using N54 on 1M seems to be aware of it - so much for credibility.

Not just Audi fanboys, all fanboys. Imagine the outcry that would have been there if 1M didn't have quad exhausts. Fanboys rather complain about stupid superficial stuff like what a car is called or what label is slapped on an engine or exhaust tips than actual meaningful comparisons based on merits/demerits of a car.

I can buy a large car with luxury and room for that money..haha
So no thank you..to much money for such cars imo.
But some like them, and hate large cars..so enjoy spending 50K

Came so late in the cycle of the model that the damn car looks oldish..
Bordering on aftermarket looks.

Late as hell, car looks boring

So yeah, to each their own.. but to me these small racer cars are like those new Male handbags..
