On topic, the GLS is as ugly as day one. And the interior not like a fine wine, but like rotting grape juice. What a turd.

Yeah, try telling that to the thousands who have already chosen the GLS over the X7 in the sales department. I suspect the GLS will be the sales champ between the two here in my country.

I have personal experience with the new GLE interior, which the GLS shares, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, the interior quality is vastly improved over the previous version. Mercedes has stepped up its game in this area. (This is probably the reason for the precondition fan-boy reactions) To me it feels better than the face-lift W222 S-Class and W213
E-Class in the areas of immediate contact.
The seats are better and offer more support in those critical areas as well.
I have hopes the new S-Class will be matching it on quality improvements.
