A step in the right direction for sure. The BMW fanboy faction can be unpleasant, but the Mercedes opposition is a cesspool.

Not that it's up for public debate, but it's currently a temporary ban. The fact of it is that he was permanently banned for just reasons (far more than simply stupid comments) when he was Sonder, coming back with a different username to circumvent that was noticed pretty much straight away, but he was given the opportunity to prove himself reformed, and he didn't. Having said that, creating a new account doesn't automatically get a member the right to a whole new bunch of second chances, and creating multiple new accounts definitely doesn't.

But honestly, do second chances ever work on these cases? Cause based on what I see here, these guys are banned, return with a new user name, fly low for a month and then they go back to normal.

Some people simply cannot be part of a public board without behaving like apes.
