Still half asleep, but after 10 minutes I realize that this is not a Ferrari, in yellow you eat it with the paper and everything

Not a Ferrari? Good, this far more important, it's a mini Lotus Evija for around £75K and the very last internally combustion engined one!🙂

Ooooooor it's an Evora in an Italian suit.

Well perhaps. All I know is once it's gone, it's gone forever so Lotus states. They were English the mid engined brand in the 1990's and the Lotus Esprit battled Ferrari and Lamborghini. The S4 is legendary.🙂

I remember having an issue of Fast Lane:

S4 vs F40 vs 959 vs Countach 5000QV

The S4 had a 4.6s 0-60mph, which was still quite something back then.

You remember Fastlane Magazine! Wow! That's a blast from the past. Yes the Lotus Esprit S4 was my favourite. I actually wrote to Hethel and ordered a brochure to get more detailed specifications. They did indeed send one out!

It wasn't as nice as the BMW 8 Series one but still.

The Le Man's racers looked absolutely wicked but they from memory proved unreliable. I always thought the rear could use the 321hp or 400hp straight six or V8 from BMW in the back of it! There were rumours but nothing ever materilised.

Lotus actually developed the ZR1 32V quad cam engine. They should have used it.

Nevermind.🙂

I SO badly wanted this car. Only the Lamborghini Diablo topped it!

1989.

I'm lost, I don't know what broshure and I never saw that ISO (thanks for that)
The Sprit was always more of a supercar than just a sports car, since Pretty Woman I like it better than the 8

Yes it played a pivotal role in that Movie. I bet sales went up in the US after that film.🙂

I religiously bought Fast Lane, Performance Car, Car, Modern Motor and Wheels magazine every month when I was a kid. Today if I buy one usually from an airport it will be Car or EVO.

Oh definitely, I bought anything and everything UK wise two and four wheeled modified, Japanese and American. Way too many to mention. But the constant was Autocar. I still purchase them now on "special" testing occasions like SF90 or Artura or Turbo S etc.:)

Also your favorite car reviewer ALEX!

9.00 minutes mark. Legendary driving and cornering skills and she absolutely dominates that Evija.
