It doesn't make sense for Mercedes not to continue with the E63 nomenclature when the C63 and S63 exist as top models. A E53 badged model with no E63 just won't fit into their naming scene.

Crazy how close the E and 5 are this time. Virtually the same launch, and I don't think that has ever happened before....They were always close, but not like this.

I think it's actually pretty cool so close together. The E vs 5 is one of the biggest (if not the) rivalries in the automotive world.
Just a shame the E has been leaked to the amount it has. And it appears BMW has patched some leaks lately to the point I am surprised we haven't seen more.

Quality of material aside, IMO This might be the best looking interior in a MERC. I like it. I know a lot don't like screens but they are here to stay.

No they are not. Micro LED screens will be fitted on the windshield in the not too distant future. Before 2030.
