Doesn’t look bad. There will not be an E350d, alas. The only 6 cylinder diesel will be the E 400d 4-Matic.

They will have at least 5 models with the V8: SL, S, GT, G, GLS, as the other 63 models get cancelled for the i6 53 (E, GLE, CLE)How come Mercedes is the only one with this V8 problem in their line-up but not other manufacturers ?
I didn't understand which BMW loses the V8 in order to be the same like MercedesThey will have at least 5 models with the V8: SL, S, GT, G, GLS, as the other 63 models get cancelled for the i6 53 (E, GLE, CLE)
Audi and BMW are also going through the same issue as well.
BMW will only have 4 model lines with the V8 moving forward, the S68 V8 is M only, will only be on the M5, 760i, X7 M60i, and XM.
Audi will be downsizing the V8 to V6 for the next RS7, and I imagine the SQ7 will also downsize to it, and the A8 has no ICE successor.
BMW didn't have as many, but once the M850i/M8 runs it's course, there's no confirmed ICE replacement for it thus far.I didn't understand which BMW loses the V8 in order to be the same like Mercedes
This is very hypothetical. The M550i, X5 M50i, X6 M50i are also going to be switching to the B58 + Hybrid system
The battery of the AMG S 63 E-Performance is a great deal larger than that of the AMG C 63 S E-Performance (13.1 kWh vs. 6.1 kWh) which more than doubles the electric range of the S-Class compared to the C-Class.This is very hypothetical.
And I don't buy this CO2 footprint fairy tale explained by Mercedes.
The S class 63 s e performance with the V8 has smaller CO2 footprint than the new C 63 s e performance with the four cylinder engine (according to WLTP, which is the refference for the CO2 limit).
Of course. Putting a bigger battery allows the use of a V8. But the margins would be less, because you can not strech the price limit of the class. So the downsizibg of the engine of a hybrid vehicle is a matter of margine and not CO2 footprint. The battery of the AMG S 63 E-Performance is a great deal larger than that of the AMG C 63 S E-Performance (13.1 kWh vs. 6.1 kWh) which more than doubles the electric range of the S-Class compared to the C-Class.
It has a huge impact on the WLTP-measurement.
It will be slightly different to production car, especially the screen shape, side vent shape and also center console.Eqs inspired render![]()

No, that's an EQS inspired render. Watch the strange vertical black pieces just after the A pillar, at the height of the rear mirrors.Leak I presume?
I wonder if that centre screen can be adjusted electronically at different angles
Also the round air outlet can be seen behind the left stalk. No, that's an EQS inspired render. Watch the strange vertical black pieces just after the A pillar, at the height of the rear mirrors.
Yes I think it will look like that. If it is different then I will give my left ball for charity lol@Rolf, you think the final interior looks like this right?
