I don't know about this. Maybe it will look better in the full reveal. So far, with or without the black from around the grille, it seems rather safe and underwhelming. The dash look a mix of EQS & S-Class which IMO is good.
Couldn’t it just be, the seat is moved forward? If I want, I can make the same picture in my car, says nothing about roominess imo.I'm shocked how little space tbere is between the seat and the dashboard for the passenger's knees.
This follows the classic Mercedes-Benz seat pattern, nice touch.Seen on Instagram![]()

I'm on the opposite opinion - since it is a touchscreen it should be closer to the driver for better ergonomics. The previous solution looks better integrated but is from the times when those were only screens without the touch function.the screens from the previous generation, integrated into a single, large slab, which would have offered a perfect positioning for all the displays. And it would have less felt like an after-thought,
Mercedes' thinking is clearly ahead of BMW's when it comes to ergonomic touchscreen use. The BMW curved widescreen approach is literally a stretch from an ergonomic perspective. It may not be as aesthetically attractive (that's entirely subjective anyway) but there's no question that it's functionally superior in the Merc.I'm on the opposite opinion - since it is a touchscreen it should be closer to the driver for better ergonomics.
