Is this expected to have any major technological gadgets/improvements over the current S and new C? I remember when the last E class/ W213 came out, "E is for Everything" and the Distronic was quite a step up from the S class at the time of launch.

That side profile is gorgeous. Love the new broken character lines as well. E Class was always the sweet spot and it’ll look even better. If we consider the new C then we have a winner in our hands. Still curious about those headlights though, they look too big for the whole front end. I assume it’s gonna have the same headlights as the GLC

I dont like the upper 2 side lines like the new GLC has…otherwise no wow effect.
Its an E-Class, a very calm designed car, which must be liked by a farmer and also by a CEO - like once a Daimler Ingenieur said.

Those are very bad renderings on the cover of AMS. The E looks exactly like a C class.

I hope not. It needs to break away from the C & S. They have adopted past BMW-Conservatism.
It’s full proof. But BMW are returning to post 2000 era controversy to stir debate.
