3 Series [Renders] Next generation BMW 3-series.

The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by the German automaker BMW since May 1975. BMW's best selling model, it is the successor to the 02 series. Since 2013, the coupé and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 Series. The M version of the 3 series, the M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.
Is the next M3 even worth looking forward to unless you want a heavy hybrid.
Good point! I'm very concerned already regarding G90 M5! The impression I had from the Nordschleife testing imho already showed its heft! G90 M5 adding 300kg over the F90 M5 ... would be hard to swallow.
And now in the light of the C63S E Performance desaster.... who really wants to see a hybrid M3/M4?
Last time I saw an interview with M bosses about the G8x successor, it seemed, that it was undecided yet, whether next M3/M4 will be hybrid or BEV ... I'm hoping for BEV now as I think 6th gen of BMW E tech for NK is much better than a hybrid/PHEV setup.

I agree.

G83 M4, 750S, 992, GR86 and previous gen E63/M5 are the very last of ICE cars as we know them. Their successors will not be lighter, cheaper or offer a more emotional experience.

This is it! Any performance cars that will be launched in 3-5 years will either be hybrid or EV. Our choices will be to either:

A: Embrace 2,000kg sports cars.
B: Rename this website to classic car forum and chat about cars pre-2023.

I think the F90 M5 (especially Comp and CS) and W213 E63 S will be sought after cars in the next few years as been the last true ICE performance saloons. Buy them now while you can get them at a decent price. The next G90 and W214 models will be 2.3ton elephants.

Two different design philosophies.
BMW should give the M350 the S58 instead of the B58 just like they did with the S68 in M60i models. It can use the exact same powertrain from the Competition models as there'd be enough of a power gap given the next M3 will be an EV rocket.

The first renders are popping up. Credits to https://www.instagram.com/avarvarii/

Whoever did this render got pretty close, nail the front end design.

In an ideal world, if the S58 is going to be applied to the M350. BMW should put the B58 to the 340, while 320, 330 and 330e are all based off the B48.

It's not going to be that.
Either BEV only or ICE only. And they haven't decided yet.

The B58 is just fine for non M models. I don't see why this would be needed at all.

That front end is just based on the grille they've been showing for at least a year, and for the rest everything is COMPLETELY off, as we can expect from a crappy artist like Avarvarri because he is always dead wrong.

What does the 'A' stand for in the NA terminology? Or the N for that matter (which I suppose is 'Neue')?
From what I have seen on the Bimmerpost's Future Model Thread. I think A stands for the early Neue Klasse products such as NA0 i3 and NA5 iX3. Whilst the next generation i5 (after G60 ended) will have NC0 as a chassis code, and then ND0 for i7 (post-G70).

Yes. But what do the letters stand for.... The A would stand for the first letter in the alphabet???

I don 't think so when you say the next will be NB NC ND etc.
Agreed. May be ND might be referring to the flagship vehicles like i7. While NC is standing for a mid size executive vehicles like i5. But not so sure about the NB products.
