Is there anything in the segment that looks better?Won't take much to look better than the current 5 which looks positively ancient inside and out.
Surely not the E-Class or the A6.

That's a looker right there.
Why the dislike for xDrive? Yes there is added weight and not necessarily required in some parts of the world but quite beneficial all the same. Please let it have some decent 6 cylinder engines without xDrive.
Yes. Everything doesn’t need to be AWD. There is no use for it in some parts of the country. Please let it have some decent 6 cylinder engines without xDrive.
I love every BMW 5 series. The ultimate BMW. Though I say the same for the 3er.
What a f'ing joke.
LMAO.
Do yall always come to fight or what?Nice to see all you BMW aficionados out in full force in this thread and the 7 thread too. You've had some new additions lately, which has gotten you all pumped up.

Same thing happens in the Mercedes threads when we say something “bad” or that we dont likeNope. It's just ridiculous you can't comment on any BMW in a less than positive light without a exaggerated retaliations.
And yes, while I have really liked almost every 5-series for the last 20 years or so, I really do think the current 5 series has dated horribly.
The 3 series on the other hand is classic BMW goodness and a very handsome car both pre and post LCI.

The G30 pre-LCI does look a bit dated now compared to other BMW models from the same era, the car is also less attractive than other 5-series before, especially the E39 and F10, but the LCI version looks a whole lot better, especially the front and rear light graphics made a massive difference. From what is revealed from this new model so far, it is following the following the same style except the front lights are alot more slimmer and sleeker, similar to the E60 in shape and the profile is typical 5-series, which shows a great balance of proportions.Nope. Of course you can. But no one is taking you seriously.?Would be wrong to say any 5 er is ugly. The 5 an X5 are the most consistent line ups bmw have in midst of what I can only call a design crisis and identity crisis. They are like the eye of the storm. That then comes at a price, they aren’t really that exciting, even boring one could say. Since the e60 it’s just been like watching paint dry.
Maybe they can strike a balance this time lien they did with the e60. I have hope!
$160,000 and its yoursCurrent 5er in M5 guise is one of the best looking 3 box design out of Germany in a long long while.
I can't recall another sedan flooring me the same way as the first time I set my eyes on a M5 CS - quintessential German super sedan.

It's because it was extremely evolutionary. From a distance facing the rear, you would struggle to tell it apart from the F10.The G30 pre-LCI does look a bit dated now compared to other BMW models from the same era,
Certainly yes, when you use as a refference the W223, but it is in a different class, it's newer and more modern. When compared to the W213 and the current A6 the 5er holds its own. All these cars will soon be replaced.Won't take much to look better than the current 5 which looks positively ancient inside and out.
Who the f are you ? HahaOf course you can. But no one is taking you seriously.?
