EQE [Renders] 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE (V295) is a battery electric executive car produced by Mercedes-Benz Group. It is part of the EQ family, and was presented at the Munich Motor Show 2021.
On the pictures, the EQE looks small like a C-Class
Your own photo contradicts you, in it it is obvious that it does not

Yes if you take the E and EQE together side by side, then you see that the EQE is even a little bigger.
BUT if you look pictures of the EQE alone or in the city, on streets etc, then it looks small like an C class.
I think its optical illusion, because its design

Yes is optical, you don't see very well

I believe it to look more compact than the measurements show. It think it’s the effect of the long wheelbase.

Seeing it in the metal left me surprised as to how "low slung" it appeared, despite it being a rather "tall" automobile (exceeding 1500mm H, I believe). And yes, the EQE sedan is a proper upper-executive segment sized sedan. Photographs and video footage can be deceiving.

I know I said "the EQE sedan is going to be EASY prey for the upcoming A6 eTron and BMW i5". Now, after have seeing it in the metal, I'm no longer at all sure of that. A remarkably good looking automobile "in real life".:

I really like it - and weirdly prefer the regular screen with some nice trim.

How do you call this car "a remerkably good looking automobile" shouldn't that be saved for Porsche 911,Taycan,S Class,Bmw 8 Series etc,i mean you can call it whatever you want it to be called by you but just confirming are you putting this car in that list of good looking car i listed above

At the beginning, I thought that the smaller footprint would benefit the EQE sedan vis-a-vis the EQS sedan. And then, I found myself starting to like the EQS more as they began to become more common sightings. But now, the EQE sedan has won me over. It's simply an ideal sized upper-executive segment sedan-and hence absoutely relevant for us Europeans.

The EQE in isolation does appear smaller than it really is due to the long wheelbase, short rear overhang/short boot and also the one bow streamlined Sedoup styling, giving it the appearance that it is low but then its over 1500mm high.

The major problem with the styling for me is the shape and materials used for the plain shiny black plastic grill in the standard car, it makes the EQE look cheap and nasty and doesn't fit with the luxury image of other Mercedes models with their chrome grills.

True that.

I think that a front light-bar similar to that of the EQS may have somehow "upgraded" the EQEs' visual. But then again, that would have made it even more indistinguishable vis-a-vis the EQS. If there is one element that annoyingly disrupts the flow, it's the shutlines of the bonnet. They are really not very becoming. And a point that has more to do with packaging: The EQE does not have a frunk, which is not good considering the rather meager capacity of its' trunk.

It looks good at the front. This is a big and heavy car. It would be nice to have 370 mile range when it comes to the U.S. If MB sells it at $60K, then I will be in line to buy.

No way it will have 370mi EPA range.
