EQE [Renders] 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE (V295) is a battery electric executive car produced by Mercedes-Benz Group. It is part of the EQ family, and was presented at the Munich Motor Show 2021.

What a difference a tasteful configuration can make. The colour, trim and rims really pull this EQE sedan together, man.
The most attractive image of the EQE sedan yet methinks.

For me the proportions are still better on the EQS, because its longer rear.
But yes…its also minimum 40.000 € more expensive :/
Both are nice.

I've seen a few EQSs in my area, front looks nice but the side profile is like a banana on wheels, its flat and loooong, no curves, lazy design. So I think EQE might look better.

Wholeheartely agree regarding this particular point.

As polarizing as the EQS sedan's exterior design may be, it does manage to maintain that "expensive luxury automobile" aura. Especially when elegantly configured. The EQE sedan's exterior, however, suggests an automobile positioned below it's intended (upper-executive) segment. It actually has an irritating "commercial vehicle" sort of vibe in very basic specificiations.

I wonder if Mercedes design team even looked at the car from outside, the interior is so good in my opinion but damn that exterior is hideous.

EQE looks little better than EQS, but that’s not what a Mercedes should look like, that’s an electric Honda civic.

For more than a few, it may be a "grower". Now seeing EQS' in "real-life traffic environments" leave me increasingly "accepting" the visual. No one is more surprised by this than myself. The car is not "pretty" per se, but I would refrain from calling it "ugly".
In fact, I found the W140 S-Class far more polarizing when it was presented some 32 years ago.

Yep, I know that feeling, same here.

I think the EQE and EQS would look a whole lot better if Mercedes added some more chrome to the intake and grill, similar to the ICE saloons it would make them alot more pleasing to the eye than the hideous shiny black flat grill.

EQE43 AMG has more chrome in the grille and I think it looks better

Honestly, I haven’t seen it in real life, and I'm not that excited about the car since it was never visually praised and the technical data is not that impressive (range, power, driving dynamics, etc.).

In my opinion, other Germans are having a better time producing an overall acceptable EV package (considering class, looks, cost and specs).
