It looks like one of those models that designers present in the first stage, the various ones that are discarded and that sometimes don't even make it past the drawing board.
With all due respect to the hard core fans this is indefensible and competing against the Audi A6 e-tron and i5 that are coming I see it very cloudy
I have seen what everyone has seen, is that almost anything that is done can be better than these forms that are so little Mercedes, that is why I say that I see it cloudy, that it will not be easyOh you've seen those? Does the i5 have a double headlamp arrangement? How does it cope with the height of it's architecture, given the shorter wheelbase than the 7?
It's the most regrettable aspect of the design that will make the cad look very dated the moment a successor is unveiled. They still can't get that front fender/hood to fit together right. It continues to look like the car is defective. If they body panels fit together better it would improve the looks of this car......as much as they can be improved.

I know which one I would choose without thinking
Just no.

You really think so? Perhaps I haven’t seen a fully specced-up ones but I’ve seen a couple of entry-level EQS’s as taxis where I live and to me it just looked like a large non-premium car. A bit like a Citroen C6, Skoda Superb or something like that. Large, yes, luxurious, no. An S-Class looks much more expensive than an EQS. My opinion only, of coursei must see it in person.
The EQS live was just gorgeous and spectacular.
Just no.

Have you seen an EQE "in-the-metal", Merc1 ?
I am one that also frequently said NO BUENO to this cars' exterior design. Then I spotted one in a parking lot last week and had the chance to scrutinize its' design more thoroughly. And you know what ? I was really surprised how visually appealing it was. While it's certainly not "eye-arrestingly stunning", it doesn't look bad at all.
That being said, this cars' major competitors (A6 eTron, i5, and more) will be presented in the not-too-distant future and are waiting to pounce. That alone would prevent me from pulling the order-trigger on an EQE.
No only the EQS, which looks terrible to me. It's like a giant 2006 Honda Civic. Just awful for a Mercedes-Benz product IMO.Have you seen an EQE "in-the-metal", Merc1 ?
